My Favorite Books of 2020

So, as some of you may know, I LOVE to read.  I can’t count the number of times I used to get in trouble for reading in the dark past my bedtime or hiding a book I was reading behind a textbook during class.  And I still have trouble putting a good book down.  With quarantine and social distancing this year, I found myself reading more than ever, so I thought I would share some of my favorite books of the year!

My most read genre is historical fiction.  It’s what I always go back to time and time again.  I think maybe its because my love for reading developed by reading American Girl books as a kid?  These are a few from this year that I absolutely loved:

Code Name Hélène | The Henna Artist | The Last Train to Key West

Sometimes I need a break from historical fiction, and thats when I usually reach for a “rom-commy” sort of book.  Here are a few of my favorites from this year:

The Honey Don’t List | In Five Years | Big Summer | The Lies That Bind

If you read any of these books, I’d love to know your thoughts!  And if you’re interested in seeing more book content, please let me know.  These are only a few of my favorites!!!
