About Me!

Hi!  Thanks for joining me!! I’m Danielle, and this is my blog!

I’m 27 and live in New Orleans, LA with my husband, Rick, and our pup, Slate. Rick and I have been married for 3 years, and we’ve had Slate for about that long!!

I was born and raised in NOLA. I went to LSU for undergrad and majored in English.  Right after that, I went to law school, and right after I graduated from law school and took the bar, I went back to law school and got a Master of Laws.  I’m currently a practicing attorney and really love what I do. 

So, why am I making a blog? 

This has been a long time coming.  I originally thought about starting a blog back in college.  I remember *attempting* to make a website and typing out a blog post on my laptop and then deleting it all and giving up. 

Flash forward to law school.  I was definitely writing (and writing and writing), but it wasn’t about things I really enjoyed.  In undergrad, I took a ton of creative writing classes.  But in law school, for the first time in years, I didn’t have a creative outlet.  This was the second time I really thought about making a blog.  But once again, I didn’t. 

Now- a few years later- here I am, writing this.  AND I’m actually doing it this time. 

What will this blog be about?  

To be honest, I’m not entirely sure yet.  But, I do hope to share aspects of my day to day life, things I love, purchases I make, places I travel to, and more.  I have a coffee obsession, and I love to read.  I LOVE traveling.  I love scouring the internet for the best deal on something I really want.  I love crafts.  And I LOVEE reality tv (lol).  

All in all, I want this blog to be an outlet for me while (hopefully) connecting with others.  And I hope you’ll join me!!
