I finally finished this book series, which I LOVED, the other day—so I figured I’d share!! If you haven’t heard of Elin Hilderbrand before, she writes the kind of books that make great beach reads. The majority of her books take place on Nantucket and contain romance, family drama, and, sometimes, a little mystery.
I recently finished her “Paradise” series, which contains three books: Winter in Paradise, What Happens in Paradise, and Troubles in Paradise. The three book series delves into the life of a family who’s world is turned upside down when they find out that not only has the family patriarch died, but he also led a secret life—and had a secret family—on St. John.
Throughout the series, the reader gets to see how the family copes with the news that the patriarch wasn’t all that he seemed, how they begin to recover, the ironic and somewhat strange events that occur along the way—and what really happened the night he died.
I know I said Elin Hilderbrand’s books make great beach reads, but I love them all year round lol. I’ve read quiteee a few of her books, and each book of this Paradise series was the kind that I couldn’t put down!
