One trend that I’ve been seeing a lot this fall is chunky platform boots. I happen to love this style, but I know a lot of people can’t stand it (as I’ve been told by some friends—hi Lauren lolol). I was uncertain about whether or not I could pull them off, but I figured what the heck. If I like it, I might as well go for it.
After looking at a bunch of different options online, I decided to go with the Doc Marten Rometty. I really love the look of these—love the fact that they’re a Chelsea style boot and love the little heel. They’re definitely on the pricey side, but if you sign up for emails from Doc Marten you can get 10% off your first order, which helps a tiny bit!!!
Here I paired them with a sweater and some black jeans. I also think they would look great with a midi skirt and some black crew socks. Or a denim jacket with a graphic tee and some leggings!
