Hi y’all!! In case you didn’t notice, I took a “holiday break” from blog posts, but now I’m back! I hope everyone had a wonderful, enjoyable holiday season and was able to celebrate with loved ones in some capacity.
With that being said, I am SO SAD the holidays are over. To me, Christmas is the most magical, wonderful time of the year. There is something about the Christmas season that just can’t be beat. We finally took down our Christmas decor this past weekend, and it was extremely depressing. So, to lessen the pain, I’m now diving headfirst into the next holiday- VALENTINE’S DAY!
Unfortunately, Valentine’s Day and Mardi Gras fall around the same time this year (Mardi Gras is February 16th this year), so I pretty much have to choose one or the other to decorate for. I figured I would round up some Valentine’s day decor and other fun items today since the majority of y’all aren’t in New Orleans, and later this week I’ll round up some Mardi Gras stuff for those of you who are (so check back on Thursday if you’re interested)!
